Trailer Leaks for Cancelled James Bond Lego Game

Ever since the original Lego Star Wars games launched for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and PC back in 2005, TT Games has pretty much been devoted to pumping out movie licensed games in Lego form and still after two decades, they’re big sellers.

One movie franchise nearly found itself getting a Lego game, though it was seemingly cancelled for unknown reasons. James Bond saw plenty of games throughout the 1980s and 90s, but the success of Goldeneye by Rare for the Nintendo 64 is what really made it a big franchise for gaming. Electronic Arts quickly took over for a while after Rare only releasing one game under the license. After Electronic Arts made a line of great games, Activision took on the license and despite publishing a number of games including a remake of Goldeneye, the series never reached the same heights and it was eventually dropped and all games removed from sale.

After the success of the Hitman reboot, a new James Bond game is currently in development by IO Interactive though we have not as yet seen any gameplay trailers.

A trailer has leaked online of what could have been a great Lego based game in the James Bond franchise. It’s not long judging by the lack of textures and polish, one would assume it’s for internal purposes as a way to try gain support from Lego to allow such a game to go ahead.
