Less than two years after releasing back in 14th March 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S as well as PC, WWE 2K23 will has closed its online servers on 6th January 2025.
Currently WWE 2K24 is still up online and will no doubt remain this way until 2026 when it too will have the servers closed as part of the focus on the latest instalment. As of yet, there is no word on WWE 2K25 though it’s almost guaranteed to be releasing this year.
WWE 2K23 like all games in the series are published by 2K Sports, one of three publishers owned by Take Two Interactive. The other two publishers are 2K Games and Rockstar Games. The games are all developed by Visual Concepts, which is owned by 2K Games.
