The year ahead is looking pretty busy, and it’s only January. A few titles slipped from 2024, most notably being Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, but it looks like this console generation from both Sony and Microsoft is finally starting to properly kick off. Though there will still be the occasional previous generation release, for the most part the games we will be seeing in 2025 onwards will be for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S consoles.
In addition, before the end of Nintendo’s financial year, we will be getting the reveal for the Nintendo Switch successor. The financial year for Nintendo ends on 31st March 2025. This means we have a whole year that outside several titles, there is nothing known about what Nintendo has in store.
