Microsoft has been slowly building up their library of Activision and Blizzard games on their subscription service Xbox Game Pass for both the Xbox consoles and PC.
Although the acquisition of Activision Blizzard was completed October 3023, it is a little surprising to say the least that it is only now we are getting the Spyro Reignited Trilogy on Xbox Game Pass this coming 12th November 2024.
Interestingly, we have yet to see the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy make the leap into Xbox Game Pass, which is a little surprising considering that it is both arguably the much bigger trilogy than Spyro.
Recently, for the first time ever, we saw a brand new Call of Duty game drop day one on Xbox Game Pass, which is a pretty big deal as Call of Duty is traditionally one of the biggest selling games every year. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was developed by both Treyarch and Raven Software and saw its official release on 25th October 2024.
