Today, Bethesda has unleashed a deep dive gameplay trailer for the forthcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle which is coming to both Xbox and PC on 9th December 2024 to both purchase as well as through the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Also it is worth pointing out that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is coming to the PlayStation 5 at some point early 2025.
Developed by MachineGames whom have previously produced the Wolfenstein reboot series, this is certainly a very different genre for them to tackle. It has however still got gamers sending out polarising thoughts on the idea of portraying Indiana Jones from a first person point of view for an action adventure game, especially as cut scenes are shown from a third person perspective.
We hope that the game lives up to its potential as it has been a long time since we had a new Indiana Jones game and we fear that perhaps given the not so well received movie that released in 2023, and the fact that as a franchise, Indiana Jones isn’t what it was twenty to thirty years ago, we may see a great game fly completely under the radar. Also the Xbox and PC release date aren’t perhaps the best either.
