Avowed Premium Edition Gives Early Access

After Indiana Jones and the Great Circle this December, the next major release to come from Xbox Games Studios will be Avowed from Obsidian Entertainment. Releasing on 18th February 2025, it was initially scheduled for a late 2024 launch only to be delayed into next year.

Recently, Phil Spencer has spoken about why Avowed was delayed, stating the reason was not due to the game needing more time to fix bugs or performance issues. The reason behind delaying Avowed was apparently because of the busy schedule for Xbox during the late 2024 period.

Although releasing day one on Xbox Game Pass for both Xbox Series X and S as well as PC, Avowed like all games from Microsoft, will be to purchase for £70/$80. However, as is becoming more common in the gaming industry, Avowed will be available to be played five days early by buying the Avowed Premium Edition for £89.99/$89.99. In addition to the early access, the Avowed Premium Edition comes with two skin packs as well as both a digital art book and soundtrack for Avowed.

Avowed will be available to purchase on 18th February 2025 on Xbox Series X and S as well as PC through Steam and Battle.net.
