Today, Warner Bros Interactive have shared the dates for when you can play the Mortal Combat 11 closed beta. This is essentially open to those whom have pre-ordered that game either on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. It does not appear that this closed beta will include either the Nintendo Switch or PC.
The closed beta will be running on both platforms between 27th and 31st March. Those who participate in the closed beta will be able to play as one of five characters from the final roster. In addition, those who take part will also be able to preview the all new Custom Character Variation System, allowing them to essentially customise their fighters with a variety of skins, gear, special abilities, intro and victory cinemas, taunts and brutalities.
During the closed beta, two modes will be available to try out. These modes are online matches against other opponents as well as the single player Tower of Time.
We are looking forward to finally getting to see and play this game first hand later this month.
